 Commissions are welcome for either residential or commercial installations.
We have extensive experience working on commissions and have developed
a step by step system to facilitate the process from start to finish.
We are comfortable working in all palettes and sizes and welcome the
opportunity to work with you to create environmentally friendly art specifically
designed to meet your needs.
The steps go something like this.

Free consultation to determine approximate size and price of
piece.

$1000 deposit received from client (or 10% of final estimate if
estimate is over $10,000).

Client supplies fabric swatches, paint chips, etc. of desired colors.

Mija compiles fabrics for color scheme. Fabric swatches sent to
client for approval.

Client and Mija work together to finalize fabrics, i.e. we’d
like more red in the dark end.

Once fabrics are approved, client pays second deposit up to 50%
of final estimate.

Mija cuts fabrics, creates blocks and begins design process. Sends
images via email to client of various design options.

Client and Mija work together to finalize design.

Mija completes piece.

Client pays remaining 50% of final cost, plus tax and shipping (approx.
$100).
The entire process takes approximately 6 months but may take longer.
Due to the amount of one-on-one time that we spend with clients on commission
pieces, they are priced 15-20% above retail price. |
